Do MSmask beds need a box spring?
No. Every frame here is a platform with metal or wood slats that hold the mattress directly, and most have stoppers or limit plates that keep the mattress from sliding.
What mattress thickness should I use?
For corner and bookcase beds, buyers suggest an 8–10 inch mattress so it sits level with the side shelves. On bunk and loft beds, keep the mattress thin enough that the guardrail still rises well above it; the guardrails are 11.8–13.4 inches tall.
What do the charging stations include?
Most models have a strip with 2 standard AC outlets, 1 USB-A and 1 USB-C port, built into the headboard, armrest or desk. A few older designs have 2 outlets and 2 USB-A ports instead.
How are the LED lights controlled?
The RGB strips run from a phone app and, on many models, a small remote. They offer around 60,000 colors, dynamic modes, music sync and timers, and can be dimmed to a night light.
Can a corner bed go on either side of the room?
Yes. The corner bookcase beds, the trundle daybed side cabinet and several low lofts can be built for a left or a right corner. Pick the layout before you start, because the manual has a section for each.
How long does assembly take?
Plan on 4–8 hours for a corner bed or daybed and most of a day for a bunk or loft bed. Parts are numbered and tools are included, but buyers recommend two people. Larger beds ship in 2 boxes that can arrive on different days.
Are the bunk and loft beds safe for young children?
Low bunks and low lofts sit close to the floor and are aimed at younger kids, with angled ladders or stairs. Taller bunks and full-size lofts suit older kids and teens. All have full-length guardrails and anti-tip wall hardware, which should be fixed to the wall.
How much weight can the beds hold?
Maximum loads listed by the maker range from 400 lb for most kids' bunks and lofts to 800–1,000 lb for corner beds and platform frames. One full-size loft is rated to 900 lb.
